Pain has become a mainstay of my life over the course of the last few years. During my youth I played any sport I could find and subjected my body to whatever injuries I seemed to acquire. Ankle surgeries, broken ribs and most cripplingly, concussions. All of these issues have sent me on a path of daily pain, something that I once feared would never cease.
I am a divorced father of two beautiful children, Gibson (age 6) and Cadence (age 4). My girlfriend, Lindsey (owner of Lindsey Kay Images) has been in my life for nearly 3 years. My photography journey began when she asked me to try and help her out at one of her shoots. I soon found myself seeking out light, picking out backgrounds, and craving the shutter sounds.
As my headaches persisted, my passion for photography was growing. The time I spend on photo walks, photo shoots and just searching for inspirations helps bring ease to my pain. It gives me something beautiful to create and aspire to. In short, taking pictures helps me heal.
I love what I am doing and cannot wait to further my life as a photographer.
